17th November 2024 - Football Weekly Update

Last seven day's results for all Stanway Rovers teams:

First:

  • 16/11/24 @ 15:00 - Athletic Newham FC 0-0 Stanway Rovers Community FC (League)

    • This result extends the three and a half month unbeaten league run of our First team to 16 unbeaten league matches, consisting of 12 wins and four draws.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 40 points from 17 matches and a GD of +26, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:

  • 16/11/24 @ 15:00 - Brantham Athletic U23 3-1 Stanway Rovers U23 (Chell Trophy Cup Competition)

    • Sadly our U23 team exit the Chell Trophy Cup Competition

  • Although they did not play in the league this week, other results from around the league see our U23 team drop to 8th in the U23 South Division of the Thurlow Nunn League

  • With 11 points from 9 matches and a GD of +2, our U23 team drop to 8th (last week = 7th) in the league (12 teams in the league)

U18's:

  • 13/11/24 @ 19:45 - Witham Town U18 0-10 Stanway Rovers U18 (League)

    • Our U18 team remain unbeaten in the league this season, with this result extending that unbeaten run to 9 unbeaten league matches, consisting of 8 wins and one draw.

    • Our U18 team play in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League.

  • With 25 points from 9 matches and a GD of +47, our U18 team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league)

Ladies First:

  • 17/11/24 @ 14:00 - Corringham Cosmos Women FC 1-0 Stanway Rovers Ladies FC First Team (League)

    • Although this result went against our Ladies first team, they remain 8th in Division 1 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 8 points from 7 matches and a GD of -3, our Ladies First team are currently 8th (last week = 8th) in the league (11 teams in the league)

Ladies Reserves:

  • 17/11/24 @ 14:00 - Stanway Rovers Ladies FC Reserves 1-8 Pitsea Town Ladies FC (League)

    • Despite losing this home match, other results in the league see our Ladies Reserves team keep their 4th place in Division 4 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 12 points from 9 matches and a GD of -12, our Ladies Reserve team remain 4th (last week = 4th) in the league (8 teams in the league)
