Results for all our Stanway Rovers teams - since our last football weekly update (on 17th February, 2024):

First:

  • 22/02/25 @ 15:00 - Stanway Rovers Community FC 1:3 Barking FC (League)

    • Stanway Rovers Goal Scorer: Nat Mardell

  • Unfortunately, this home defeat sees our First team run of unbeaten league matches come to an end. Although it has come to an end, we are very proud of our first team players, management, support and everyone else who contributed in the outstanding achievement of 25 unbeaten league matches, consisting of 19 wins and six draws. However, unbeaten records do not win league titles, and with the five teams in positions 2 to 6 giving us a very good "run for our money", we will be pushing hard to get back to winning ways in our next match.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 63 points from 27 matches and a GD of +47, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:


U18's:

  • Huge congratulations to our U18 team as they have won the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League (South).

  • 19/02/25 @ 19:45 - Little Oakley U18 0:3 Stanway Rovers U18 (League)

  • As well as confirming our position as league champions, this win also sees our U18 team maintain their run of unbeaten league matches, which is now 14 matches, consisting of 13 wins and one draw.

  • Our U18 team finish 1st in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League

  • With 40 points from 14 matches and a GD of +65, our U18 team finish 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league) - with two games remaining

Ladies First:

  • 23/02/25 @ 14:00 - Stanway Rovers Ladies FC First Team v FC Clacton Ladies (League)

    • Match postponed

  • This postponement sees our Ladies First team remain at 9th position in Division 1 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 10 points from 12 matches and a GD of -9, our Ladies First team are currently 9th (last week = 9th) in the league (11 teams in the league)
