Results for all our Stanway Rovers teams - since our last football weekly update (on 21st January, 2024):

First:

  • 22/01/25 @ 19:45 - Woodford Town FC 1:1 Stanway Rovers Community FC (League)

    • Rovers goal scorer: George Okoye

  • 25/01/25 @ 15:00 - Stanway Rovers Community FC 4:0 Frenford FC (League)

    • Rovers goal scorers: Tom Maycock (2),Reece Conway, George Okoye

  • With a win and a draw this week, our First team run of unbeaten league matches continues and now stands at 23, consisting of 17 wins and six draws.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 57 points from 24 matches and a GD of +37, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:

  • No matches for our U23 team since last week.

  • Our home 3:1 win against Haverhill Rovers, played on 9th November 2024, needs to be replayed. This sees our U23 team drop two places, to 8th position, in the U23 South Division of the Thurlow Nunn League

  • With 14 points from 11 matches and a GD of +4, our U23 are 8th (last week = 6th) in the league (12 teams in the league)

U18's:

  • With only one match being played in our U18 league this week (a bottom of the table clash with bottom placed Brightlingsea Regent getting a 1:0 win against third from bottom Brantham Athletic), no changes were made to the table for the top six teams in the league.

  • This sees our U18 team keep their position at the top of their league, with no change to our run of unbeaten league matches, which remains at eleven, consisting of 10 wins and one draw.

  • Our U18 team remain 1st in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League

  • With 31 points from 11 matches and a GD of +54, our U18 team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league)

Ladies First:

  • 26/01/25 @ 14:00 - Stanway Rovers Ladies FC First Team 1:1 Great Bradfords Ladies FC First Team (League)

  • This results sees our Ladies First team remain at 9th position in Division 1 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 9 points from 9 matches and a GD of -6, our Ladies First team are currently 9th (last week = 9th) in the league (11 teams in the league)
