2nd December /2024 - Football Weekly Update

Last seven day's results for all our Stanway Rovers teams:

First:

  • 30/11/24 @ 15:00 - Saffron Walden Town FC 1-3 Stanway Rovers Community FC (League)

  • Our goalscorers:

    • George Okoye (2)

    • Jamie Bennett

  • This result extends the unbeaten league run of our First team to 18 unbeaten league matches, consisting of 14 wins and four draws.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 46 points from 19 matches and a GD of +30, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:

  • 30/11/24 @ 15:00 - Stanway Rovers U23 1-3 Hadleigh United U23 (League)

  • Although they lost in the league this week, other results from around the league see our U23 team remain in 8th position in the U23 South Division of the Thurlow Nunn League

  • With 11 points from 10 matches and a GD of zero, our U23 team remain at 8th (last week = 8th) in the league (12 teams in the league)

U18's:

  • No match this week

  • Although they did not play in the league this week, other results from around the league see our U18 team remain in first place in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League.

  • Our U18 team remain unbeaten in the league this season, with an unbeaten run of 9 league matches, consisting of 8 wins and one draw.

  • With 25 points from 9 matches and a GD of +47, our U18 team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league)

Ladies First:


Ladies Reserves:

  • 01/12/24 @ 14:00 - Stanway Rovers Ladies FC Reserves 1-1 Earls Hall United Ladies FC (League)

    • Although they drew this week, other results in the league see our Ladies Reserves team keep drop from 4th to 5th place in Division 4 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 13 points from 10 matches and a GD of -12, our Ladies Reserve team are 5th (last week = 4th) in the league (8 teams in the league)
