9th December 2024 - Football Weekly Update

Last seven day's results for all our Stanway Rovers teams:

First:

  • 03/12/24 @ 19:30 - Stanway Rovers Community FC 5:2 Ipswich Town FC XI (Mid Season Friendly)

  • There were no league matches in the Essex Senior Football League this week.

  • Our unbeaten league run for our First team of 18 unbeaten league matches, consisting of 14 wins and four draws is unchanged.

    • Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League

  • With 46 points from 19 matches and a GD of +30, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league)

U23's:

  • 07/12/24 @ 15:00 - Stanway Rovers U23 v Brantham Athletic U23 (League)

    • Match postponed - bad weather

  • Although they did not play in the league this week, other results from around the league did not impact our league position, and our U23 team remain in 8th position in the U23 South Division of the Thurlow Nunn League

  • With 11 points from 10 matches and a GD of zero, our U23 team remain at 8th (last week = 8th) in the league (12 teams in the league)

U18's:

  • No match for our U18's this week

  • Although they did not play in the league this week, the result from the only match played in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League did not impact our league position and our U18 team remain in first place in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League.

  • Our U18 team remain unbeaten in the league this season, with an unbeaten run of 9 league matches, consisting of 8 wins and one draw.

  • With 25 points from 9 matches and a GD of +47, our U18 team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (9 teams in the league)

Ladies First:


Ladies Reserves:

  • No match for our Ladies Reserves team this week

  • Although they did not play in the league this week, the result from the only match played in Division 4 of the Essex County Women's Football League did not impact our league position and our Ladies Reserves team remain in 5th place in Division 4 of the Essex County Women's Football League

  • With 13 points from 10 matches and a GD of -12, our Ladies Reserve team are 5th (last week = 5th) in the league (8 teams in the league)
