Join us (for just £8.00 per ticket, available now) for another of our popular "Stanway Rovers Live Events", this event is an evening of 'Rock and Pop Classics from the 60s to 00s'. Sing and dance to songs by bands such as The Beatles, Bryan Adams, The Police, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Pulp, Queen and Coldplay.
Live music will be provided at this event by the popular local band "Broken Watch". Formed at Colbayns High School, Clacton, Broken Watch performed their first live gig on 23rd September 2003. Since then they have performed over 90 gigs, mainly in Essex and Suffolk. They have even played at The Cavern Club, Liverpool (home of the 1960's world famous English Rock Band, The Beatles).
They have performed for us several times at Stanway Rovers Football Club and we are very pleased to welcome them back to us in this, their 21st year, as they are an outstanding local talent.
This is a "Ticket Only" event, and everyone is welcome.
Tickets are £8.00 each (no concessions) and are available now, from behind the club bar or by calling 01206 578187 (after 7pm).
But buy your tickets quickly, as the popularity of this band and the popularity of our live gigs means this event is bound to sell out well in advance of the band being here.
This is a fully seated (at tables) function, with a large dance floor (for those with a more energetic approach to your entertainment).
We have many regular attendees at our functions, and some groups bring quite impressive "picnics" with them. We are very happy to welcome you if you too, bring your favourite buffet picnic with you.
Our fully licenced Hawthorn Suite bar will be open for the duration of the gig, for the purchase of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Our free on site car park is available for this event. Want to drive to this event - and still have a drink? No problem, drive here, have your drink, and leave your car overnight in our car park, and return the next day to collect your car.
