Tomorrow the Rovers will be making the trip to the Oakside Stadium to face Redbridge with full confidence following a 2-0 win over Saffron Walden Town at the weekend. Both Stanway and Redbridge bounced back from FA Cup defeat and came away with the 3 points from their games on Saturday.

George Christou's side ended last season in 3rd position in the Essex Senior League, finishing with 81 points, 2 points below Saffron Walden Town. Redbridge opened their 2022/23 Campaign with a 4-2 win at Home against FC Clacton. Like the Rovers, Redbridge also exited early from the Emirates FA cup after a 2-1 defeat to Takeley. LAST TIME WE MET
The last time the sides met was in the Peter Memorial Trophy Cup Final. The Motormen lifted the trophy after a 2-0 win goals coming from Tony Martin and Loui Hazlewood.
