Standard entertainment
Our bar is open everyday, with regular guest "Beers of The Week" (BOTW). Come in and try them, they are very good, and when they're gone, they're gone. All our bar prices are cheaper than all the pubs in Colchester, except one (Wetherspoons). Want to enjoy our bar prices - with a discount? Simply become a member of the club - all members get a discounted rate at the bar. Just present your membership card when paying for your drinks to instantly receive your discount.
We have a pool table and two darts boards, so come along for your own fun pool and darts games.
Want to go a bit more serious? Come along on Monday evenings and join one of our four darts teams, playing in the Colchester and District Monday Night Darts League. Ricky Patterson is our darts team's manager, he would be very pleased to meet you.
Fancy a drink and a quiet read? We have our own bookcase with a wide range of book genres. All books are free for you to read at the club, or to take home and read there. Have you finished some books and don't know what to do with them. Simply put them in our book case - and maybe swap to take some home.
We always hold a raffle when our first team play at home, and we frequently hold ad-hoc raffles, our famous "Standing Bingo" and "Meat" raffles (our Chairman is a butcher, so the meat in these raffles is guaranteed top quality) - so we frequently have opportunities for you to "win", here at SRFC!
