Our social activities take place in both the Members Bar and the Function Room at the FND and KMCO Community Stadium, home of Stanway Rovers Football Club.

 

Easter 2025 FREE Beer Festival

We are pleased to announce that our first beer festival of 2025 will be held on Easter Saturday (19th April) and Easter Sunday (20th April). And the great news is - we are making it FREE (to enter).


All our Beer Festival beers will be supplied by our friends at the Colchester Brewery. Visit their website for full details about them and the special beers they brew (and supply to us all year round):

While the beers last, our beer festival is open from 12:00 (noon) to 23:00 on both dates.

Easter Monday 2025 Free BBQ

We are also pleased to announce that our first BBQ of 2025 will be held on Easter Monday (21st April) and it will be FREE.

With St George's Day occurring on Wednesday 23rd April, come along to the members bar at the FND and KMCO Community Stadium on Easter Monday, 21st April, to celebrate when England's patron Saint slew the dragon. Although the dragon grilled his food before he ate it, we can guarantee we will not be eating grilled dragon. Just your ordinary, traditional BBQ fayre.


Times:

  • Members bar opens at 12:00 (noon) for pre BBQ drinks, banter and the lighting of the coals

  • Fine dining at 1:00pm

  • The members bar remains open throughout your gastronomic lunch, and through to the evening opening hours

Our air-conditioned Function Room at the FND and KMCO Community Stadium is available for day time hire at just £25 per hour. The £25 bookings include access to our car park and our kitchen.
