We are down to the last 8 in the 2024-25 Emirates FA Cup competition. And it's not just "any old 8":

• Four of the last eight have never won a major trophy:

  • Bournemouth, Brighton, Crystal Palace, and Fulham

• Three of the last eight haven't won a major trophy in decades:

  • Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, and Preston North End

• Only one of the last eight have recently won a major trophy:

  • Manchester City
