An outstanding achievement. Our First team play in the Essex Senior Football League With 88 points from 36 matches and a GD of +62, our first team remain 1st (last week = 1st) in the league (20 teams in the league). We have 2 ( one home and one away ) league matches remaining. Takeley (in second place) are now the only other team in contention with us for the title of 2024/25 league champions. And they are still fighting hard, securing a 2-1 home win against Sawbridgeworth Town in their latest match 2-1. With Takeley and us only having two remaining matches to the end of the season, and with us leading Takeley by 5 points, a win for us in our final home match of the season will see us secure the top spot as league champions - with one match to go. And securing the title before our final match will be a far more "comfortable" finish to the season for us, because our final match of the season is against - TAKELEY - at Takeley!
